Andrew Goodwin - Conventions of a music video

Introduction

My name is Alex Harris. I'm 17 years old and from London. This blog is here for me to post all my information and details of my coursework where ultimately I will be creating a music video. Since I will be creating a music video I thought I should talk about some things I like about music. One thing in music that I appreciate is the opposing views on genres. Nowadays, there are so many genres out there such as Pop Rock and Deep House. However, I feel that a lot of the time people don't accept other people's taste in music i.e Some people see rock as just people screaming.

I have a very broad taste of music from 'Classic Rock' (Electric Light Ochestra, Queen, The Strypes) to 'Dance' (Calvin Harris, Avicii) to 'Hip-Hop' (Eminem, Tinie Tempah). As well as these genres I also like two 'Indie Rock' Artists (Hozier and James Bay)
